The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN), in partnership with the People's Coalition on Food Sovereignty (PCFS), has launched a campaign urging international bodies to take immediate steps to ensure the entry of essential agricultural inputs into Gaza, particularly seeds - which have been blocked by the Israeli Occupation.

The joint letter calls on the United Nations, the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), the World Food Programme (WFP), and the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) to hold the Israeli occupation accountable for its violation of international law and to take urgent action in response to the deliberate destruction of Gaza's agricultural sector and the use of starvation as a weapon of war. The campaign also called on organizations to sign the letter to create global pressure on the UN and its agencies to comply with its principles.
