Five young brothers inherited an orchard in Jerash governorate from their father, who tragically lost his life in an unfortunate accident. Since then, the orchard remained uncultivated.
Spanning 13 dunums of fertile red soil, the orchard became a source of inspiration for the brothers. Filled with determination, they chose to dispel the lingering sadness and rejuvenate their late father's orchard. Through the Green Caravan programme, and with the generous support of Jordan Kuwait Bank, they planted a total of 650 fruit trees, including stone fruits, cherries, peaches, grapes, figs, and olives.
At the event, bank employees, alongside 100 students from Marj Al-Hamam's Girls Guides Group, collaborated with APN to actively participate in restoring the orchard's beauty. As individuals were assigned to plant trees, a delicious breakfast made from the earth's produce was served. The breakfast was prepared by women from the "Nashmiyat Souf" association, who had previously launched a productive project aimed at benefiting their community and generate additional income for their families, allowing for a decent standard of living.
