Through our ongoing collaboration with the “Together for Umi” Foundation, we planted 257 stone fruit trees in Halhul across five dunums of land situated along the colonial bypass road. The land is owned by three farmers who have been barred by the occupation from accessing their fields since October 7, 2023, in an effort to confiscate them. Our Million Tree Campaign (MTC) Team in Palestine reached the targeted lands via secondary roads to ensure the trees were delivered to the farmers and planted.

“Together for Umi” is a social foundation dedicated to improving the livelihoods of mothers in underserved communities in our region through skills training and income-generating opportunities. Since the onset of the genocide in Gaza, the foundation has allocated a portion of one of its collections to support our work in reviving Gaza’s farmlands as well as planting olive trees across Palestine, advancing food sovereignty.
