On February 15, 2019, APN planted 250 citrus trees with financial support and participation from the women’s group, Al Fanar Toastmasters Club of Jordan (for public speaking), and help from the Balqa Creativity Institute. Around 40 Al Fanar volunteers planted the trees on the land of a farmer in the Subaihi area of Salt Governate. The activity was part of the Green Caravan Program.

Rawan Suhaimat, President of Al-Fanar Club thanked APN for the opportunity to volunteer, adding, "We enjoyed every minute with you." APN Co-founder Razan Zuayter said the upbeat atmosphere during the activity embodied APN’s ambitions and that the community benefits alongside the famers through enhanced cooperation and generosity.

Before the planting began, APN Project Manager Mohammad Qtaishat gave an overview of APN’s work and explanations on types of agriculture, tools and techniques.

In October 2019, The Balqa Creativity Institute signed a memorandum of understanding with APN to implement the “Green Caravan” program in Al Salt governorate. The joint venture seeks to establish national self-sufficiency for some crops, raise farmers’ incomes and increase green space.
