Razan Zuayter, President of the People's Coalition on Food Sovereignty and Chair of the Board at the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, inaugurated an international webinar in solidarity with the Palestinian people on the 73rd anniversary of the Nakba. Mandela Mandela participated in the meeting, which was organized by the  People's Coalition on Food Sovereignty,  the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature, and the International League of Peoples' Struggle (ILPS), and the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine (15 May 2021).

During the opening speech, Zuayter said that the meeting is a symbolic global demonstration that carries multiple strong messages and proves that humanity is indivisible. Then, she presented a historical account of the tragedy of Palestine, pointing to the different periods of time of the Palestinian struggle that has not stopped since the Balfour Declaration in 1917.

She concluded by saying that the Palestinian struggle will continue until liberation and that the source of the revolution must be from within, also stressing that regional and international solidarity is an essential complement to this struggle.

Zuayter warned during the meeting, which was attended by dozens of activists from around the world of imperialism, noting that it is the main reason that liberation efforts are thwarted.  She also warned of the systematic and psychological warfare that is waged against peoples to put them down and sow sedition, stressing that unity among Palestinians and revolution is the way to overcome this.

The following people spoke at the event: Jawdat Manna, General Coordinator of the Global Campaign to Return to Palestine; Lisa Maza, Secretary-General of the Organization of American Countries; and Henry Morales from CPDE.
