The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature called for a meeting to be organized by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in cooperation with the Dibeen Association for Environmental Development (DIBEEN). The meeting aimed to inform participants of the organization's findings regarding the fire in the Jordan Valley and raise the issue at the international level to hold Israel accountable, compensate the farmers, and prevent the recurrence of these crimes (June 9, 2021).

The IUCN held the meeting in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Environment. Participants agreed on a number of recommendations regarding a response from civil society organizations to the fire.

The meeting concluded with producing a report on Israel's deliberate fires in the Jordan Valley to submit to the Jordanian government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Water) to raise the issue at the international level with clear demands.
