"Revive Gaza’s Farmland" Continues Agricultural Activities and Achieves Tangible Results |

The Revive Gaza’s Farmland project, which we launched a year and a half ago, continues to implement agricultural activities across various areas of Gaza. Between April and the end of June, the project cultivated approximately 74 dunums, bringing the total area planted since the project's launch to 1,252 dunums. Read more |
Conclusion of the Economic Empowerment and Enhancement of Food and Water Security Project in Jordan |

We concluded our Economic Empowerment and Enhancement of Food and Water Security Project in the Jordan Valley, implemented in cooperation with the International Islamic Charitable Organization – Kuwait. The project supported 600 farming families across the northern, central, and southern Jordan Valley through the provision of 25,000 fruit trees and 5,000 kilograms of vegetable seeds. It also included the installation of 716,000 meters of irrigation networks across 375 dunums of farmland. Additional components involved the construction and rehabilitation of 80 agricultural ponds, the distribution of 5,150 kilograms of molokhia seeds and 200 beehives across various areas, and the installation of a solar-powered machine for drying vegetables and fruits in Ghor es-Safi. “Sumood” Project Confronts One of the Largest Settlement Blocs in the West Bank |

We concluded the “Sumood” Project in a village in the southern West Bank located within one of the largest settlement blocs, by providing direct agricultural inputs to 37 farmers and families in the village. This included the planting of 3,441 fruit trees across an area of 101 dunums. In addition, comprehensive agricultural packages were distributed to all household gardens, including irrigation and fertilization systems, water tanks, farming tools, organic fertilizers, seeds, seedlings, and poultry. As part of the Sixth Annual Environmental Politics in the Middle East and North Africa Conference, organized by the Arab Reform Initiative in Lebanon under the theme "Rethinking Justice in Environmental Transitions During Times of Conflict and Crisis", APN Agricultural Advisor Hassan Al Jaajaa emphasized that the concept of a just environmental transition in our region must be rooted in our unique political, social, and environmental contexts.
