APN completes an important milestone in implementing the 'Arab Tree Path' in cooperation with the Arab League

Arab Group for the Protection of Nature Chairperson Razan Zuayter delivered a presentation on the 'Arab Tree Path' to the Arab League Sub-committee for the Eradication of Hunger. The presentation was delivered to prepare for submitting a document for the project to ministers of agriculture and water from a number of Arab countries. The document has already been approved.

From clean households to healthy ecosystems: Vileda - APN partnership leads to thousands of new trees

The partnership between APN and Vileda has resulted in planting around 4,000 new fruit trees and 2,000 new vegetable seedlings dotting most of the kingdom’s cities and governorates this year (including Irbid, Jerash, Ajloun, Salt-Subaihi, Zarqa, Tafila, Karak, and the southern and central Jordan Valley).

APN and Bank al Etihad plant 1,000 trees in Mafraq as new growing season begins

APN continued to carry out the Green Caravan program with the beginning of a new growing season in Jordan. APN planted 1,000 olive trees in the town of Balama in Mafraq. The trees were courtesy of Bank al Etihad which donated 2,500 trees to the program.

Hassan Al Jaaajaa, one of the founders of APN represented the organization at a meeting on 17 August, 2020 of major groups and stakeholder at the United Nations Environment Program in West Asia (UNEP). The meeting discussed the dangers to the oil tanker Safer located on the coast of Yemen, especially after the disaster that struck the port of Beirut in August 2020, and in light of the strife that Yemen is experiencing.
