A large number of listeners have pledged support to APN campaign to plant more tree seedlings in Palestine during an open air program on Radio Hayat FM. The program was aired in cooperation with APN on April, 20th, 2015 under the slogan of “They Uproot a Tree, We Replant Ten”.

During the program, listeners who called in pledged support for the campaign with donations for the cultivation of 23 thousand tree seedlings, building seven water wells and purchasing 13 fishing nets.The program went on air at 7:30 in the morning and lasted until midnight attracting a wide number of listeners from all walks of life.

It hosted APN board members and 25 of its volunteers who went on air responding to callers and listeners from Jordan and Palestine. They included members of APN partners in Palestine, namely the Palestinian Land Research Center, the Palestinian Farmers Union, the Palestinian Voluntary Work Committee, the deputy Mufti of Jerusalem, along with farmers and others.
