Scores of APN volunteers and the Palestinian Voluntary Work Committee and its partners have planted around 1000 fruit tree seedlings in the village of Om Lasfa, in the Hebron region.

The cultivation of the olive and almond seedlings on Sep.5th, 2015 was carried out despite repeated acts of harassment by Jewish settlers and attempts by the Israeli occupation troops to block arrival of  village residents to the area.  Combined efforts of the local councils, committees, human rights groups and residents have forced the occupation troops to remove mines from the land.The cultivation of the seedlings was financed by APN and Hayat FM radio listeners within a framework of partnership between the Palestinian Voluntary Work Committee, popular committees against the Wall and settlement (the South West Bank Committee) and the villages’ council of East Yatta, in addition to.
