Two years after its launch, the economic empowerment project targeting the Rahmah Association for Orphans is still yielding positive results.

APN rented a 10-dunam plot of land for the benefit of a group of female agricultural workers from Rahma Association for Orphans, in the village of Zamaleya – North of Jordan Valley. Moreover, APN secured all the supplies needed to sustain the project (irrigation equipment, seeds, fertilizers, manpower, and water).

Hiam Al-Tuwaisat, President of Rahma Association for Orphans, praised the project as it reflected positively on female agricultural workers by increasing their income and enhancing their independence through the cultivation of crops such as okra and cucumbers.
