APN was invited to participate in the World Conference on Household Farming and Research that was organized by a group of international organizations to include Agropolis International, CGIAR, GFAR and World Rural Forum during the period 1 – 3 June 2014 in Montpellier, France.

The Conference was organized within the International Year of Family Farming that was announced by the UN in 2011. The conference aimed to discuss and propose research on the international level, and it was attended by representatives of farmers, researchers, civil society organizations, policy makers and the private sector.

APN President Razan Zuayter called in her intervention that moral standards and human rights must be considered when setting research priorities.
