APN, represented by Engineer Zeena Al-Jaajaa participated in the world conference on conservation and use of wild socio-economic plants in the Fertile Crescent region that was conducted at Landmark Hotel and the Royal Botanic Garden in Amman on 8 June 2014 organized by Potra Project, a Royal Botanic Garden project and funded by European Union.

The Conference provided an update to activities that help manage conservation of botanic diversity in Jordan, study and protect flora and environment systems in the region, as well as to encourage more socio-economic research on wild plants, and seeking new partnerships aimed to conserve bio-diversity and natural heritage in the Fertile Crescent Region.

Engineer Al-Jaajaa, through her participation and networking with participants was able to start new partnerships in Jordan and the region utilizing the Green Caravan Project. She stressed on plantation of local plants that help reclamation of land and provide self-sufficiency.
