APN participated in the activities of the 17th World Congress of the International Economic Association (IEA) organized by the IEA and Columbia University Research Center at the Hussein Bin Talal Conferences Center with attendance of around 650 participants from all continents.

More than 120 sessions were organized on topics related to the global economy, development, political economy among others. APN manager, Mariam Al-Jaajaa intervened on the relationship between equality and sustainable economic growth as well as the of dangers of imposing global reform policies on countries without studying local conditions and coming up with appropriate strategies.
