APN and Ehtirafiya Academy Join Hands in Olive Tree Cultivation Campaign in Jordan | The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

Seeking to instill the values of voluntary work and the spirit of strong attachment to the homeland, the International Ehtirafiya  Academy’ female secondary school joined the Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN) in implementing a tree planting campaign in Jordan.  The work involves planting of a thousand olive tree saplings. 

The first phase was carried out in Dhlail governorate on March 28th, 2015 sponsored by Dr. Mohammad al-Rujoub head of the board of managers, general manager Dr. Mohammad Baibeh, school principal Ms. Omaima Al-Akhras, lawyer and APN volunteer Abdullah Hawatmeh, Mohamad Quteishat, APN program manager and a number of the school students.  Three hundred saplings were planted in some underdeveloped areas, a park, and in Hallabat boys’ secondary school yards, in cooperation with the town’s municipality.
