Another major tree planting effort bore fruit in the village of Bayoudah, in Al-Salt, Balqa’ governorate, where 6,200 fruit trees saplings were planted in its lands, ten for each household, during two months of voluntary work in 2017.

Around 500 male and female volunteers joined hands to cultivate the land in cooperation with Ibda’ Al-Balqa’ and Nashmiyat Al Bayoudah local groups.  The trees’ cultivation was significant for the village’s community efforts seeking to achieve self sufficiency through agriculture.
