In April and May 2017, APN Board member Ms. Razan Zuayter attended meetings held by the General Secretariat of the Conference for Palestinians Abroad.

Ms. Zuayter, as the President of the Land and Water Committee, presented her plans for the committee, including defining concepts within the land, water and environment nexus, surveying all relevant organizations and initiatives within Palestine or abroad, organizing workshops to formulate a work plan and propose means of implementation, monitoring and follow-up. Ms. Zuayter also emphasized the importance of setting a cooperative strategy for the conference and its projects, and nominated Dr. Aziza Darghouth as an expert on International Strategy Building as well as APN General Manager Mariam Al Jaajaa who would be qualified to facilitate the discussion.
