Dozens of volunteers from the cities of Tulkarem and Ramallah participated in planting olive seedlings in the village of Toura, southwest of Jenin, on 15th February, 2016.

The area is impacted by the apartheid wall, settlements and military personnel which camp on its land.  This agricultural activity comes within the framework of the “Zeitoun Khair” project, part of the third Million Tree Campaign, in partnership with the Arab Center for Agricultural Development (ACAD) and the Palestinian Voluntary Work Committee, and in collaboration with the Society of Friends of Diabetes Patients (Tulkarem), the Riyadh Village Council (Nazlat al-Sheikh Zeid and Atturem) and the Toura Village Council.
