APN Organizes Awareness Campaigns in Schools

English

On the 26th of October, 2017, APN headed to the Ahliyyah School for Girls where it gave an informative lecture about its programs, and the significance of planting trees in both Palestine and Jordan. Almost 200 students from both the Ahliyyah School for Girls and the Bishop’s School for Boys attended the lecture and learned more about environmental and agricultural challenges in Jordan and Palestine and ways to overcome them.

On the 19th of December, 2017, APN was invited to the British International Academy for Girls to speak about the impact of human activity on ecosystems. Fourth grade students gathered to learn about the importance of functioning ecosystems and how APN’s work contributes to a healthier environment.

The lectures were part of APN’s If You Only Know campaign, which gives awareness lectures to school and university students to bring attention to local and regional environmental and agricultural issues, and share APN’s experience with trying to address these issues.
