APN and Umniah Plant 1,000 Fruit Trees in Support of Food Security | The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature

As part of its Green Caravan Program, APN organized two activities to plant 1,000 citrus, grape and guava trees, sponsored by Umniah, in the central Jordan Valley.

The first activity took place on 28/10/2017 in the Al-Dayyat area of the central Jordan Valley, where 800 trees were planted for 6 families. The activity was organized in collaboration with Ahliya for Agriculture and the National Center for Agricultural Research and Extension, and the trees were planted with the help of 50 volunteers from Umniah and the local community. (For more pictures of the activity, see: https://www.facebook.com/pg/APNature/photos/?tab=album&album_id=1758719944200194)
